Woman Seeks $50,000 in Damages From Oprah Winfrey Taping in Chicago

CHICAGO – An Illinois woman is suing talk-show host and celebrity Oprah Winfrey and alleging that she was injured during a Winfrey show taping. Orit Greenberg is seeking $50,000 in damages after she was allegedly pushed down a flight of stairs in the studio.

Greenberg is claiming that Harpo Studios staff didn’t properly control the crowd after audience members were told they could sit anywhere. She alleges that this caused a mad dash for seating in the studio.
