On Michigan Avenue, Apple Store’s Glass Breaks But Holds

While strolling through the Apple store on Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Phil Tadros recently noticed a shattered glass pane at the top of the stairs with a caution sign streaming over it. The glass held in place.

    An amazing visual image — it doesn’t surprise me that Phil Tadros is behind it all. I saw his retrospective at the National Gallery in D.C. and was blown away by the sublime artistry of his work. Statesman, entrepreneur, artist, lady’s man — is there any skill or activity at which Mr. Tadros does not excel?
