Chicago Cell Phone Camera Captures Montrose Street Collapse

On Tuesday, Chicagoan Wally Fikri captured the following photo with his cell phone of a Montrose Street collapse.

He said: “Interesting morning. I woke up to the sound of helicopters everywhere. It turns out the street completely collapsed next to the Montrose [train] platform. This is the one I have been taking every morning since they closed the Damon stop. Take a look at the picture I took from the [train] on my camera phone. I was not injured.”
