Power Rates For ComEd Utility Customers in Chicago to Spike 2 Percent in June

At the risk of sounding like an unsolicited broken record, Chicago utility customers on Wednesday were hit with the irritating news that their ComEd bills are spiking yet again. While it’s only 2 percent this time, it all adds up and seems to be coming more often these days.

As usual, ComEd blamed the swell on higher market prices for power. The average consumer bill for Chicagoans will climb just under two bucks a month.
